Hotel Unterpichl is located in Santa Valburga, a 40-minute drive from Merano. The location of the hotel along the road has the great advantage of having the ski bus, hiking bus, and the regional bus stop right at the hotel. Furthermore, the roads are always cleared and you will never have problems leaving for your excursions in winter.

What about the noise? The noise might bother you in summer only when sleeping with the window open. The road through the Val d'Ultimo Valley is no motorway, and our windows are perfectly well-insulated.

Motorway exit A22 Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd – take the Mebo dual carriageway to the exit MERANO SUD/MERAN SÜD – then follow the road signs to VAL D'ULTIMO/ULTENTAL. In Santa Valburga/St. Walburg look out for the hotel signs. Our hotel is located directly at the road.

Public bus no. 245 runs every hour from Merano to Val d'Ultimo.
