The only official eco-label of the European Union stands for environmental excellence and is subject to strict criteria.

In the areas of energy consumption such as electricity and heat, water quality and water consumption, waste management, use of chemicals, food consumption, accessibility and availability of public transport, as well as in dealing with the social environment, e.g. with employees and support for local associations.

We appreciate that our hotel is located in the municipality of Ulten.

Many of the resources we have are often taken for granted, such as water, air, forests and soil, or habitat.
In addition, we enjoy the warmth from 100% Ulten wood,
the high-quality, controlled running water throughout the valley,
a well-functioning waste and recycling system,
and perfect accessibility by train and bus.

An aid project serves as a contribution to environmental protection
by donating to improve the living conditions of other people.

Since June 2023, we have been selling Ultner water and donating €1 per bottle (700 ml) to the aid organization “Südtirol Hilft”.

The South Tyrol sustainability label stands above all for “local purchasing of goods”
